PRAYER
DO YOU HEAR THE CRIES?
Rosalie Naglich
25-Dec-2006
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

God so loved this world - He gave - Love always gives - God gave us His only Son - God gave His best - Love always gives. Jesus came to give us life abundantly. In America and some places throughout the world, we often think of life more abundantly as material wealth, but those that are giving their lives for the Gospel know more about life abundantly than those with financial wealth. Life abundantly is not just having our needs met, nor having an abundance of our desires met. Life abundantly is knowing and doing the will of God.

We need a godly vision and an ear to hear the cries of the people being persecuted for the sake of the Gospel. We don't like being forgotten, but there are those in lands around the world crying out for someone to help them. When we hear a baby cry, or a child cry that is hurt, or someone in physical pain, from their inner belly groans out of need, do we turn a deaf ear? Are we close enough to the throne to hear the heart of God crying out for an intercessor to pray? We need a heart transplant, one of compassion and love for the persecuted church. Do you hear their cries?
Our prayer...
I pray today for those in countries that are persecuted for their faith in the Lord
Jesus Christ. Many have taken a bold stand against atheism, witchcraft, and religious
bondages. Give them strength today. May the love of God permeate their hearts for
Jesus Christ and feel the compassion of His heart so that the glorious Gospel can be
preached with freedom and without fear. You said to ask for the nations, and we ask
for the nation of .................(insert the name of your nation) that the principalities and
powers be bound and brought down, exposed and annihilated. Give Your people a
spiritual boldness to preach the Word and show the love of Christ to others.
