Are You a Harvester?
Rosalie Naglich
05-Oct-2006
Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth
and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return
unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

It's Harvest Time! We hear these words everywhere, but where are the harvesters? When we plant natural seeds into the ground, we expect a crop. Between the time of planting and harvesting many storms arise which have the potential to destroy the crop. Sometimes there is little rain which can cause parched ground and seeds to dry up and die. Just as a seed begins to sprout, a severe storm can produce a hard rain and beat upon the seed. Although the more intense the storm (persecution), God's Word will not return void and uproot the seed. We must think of planting seeds in the supernatural just as we plant in the natural.

Today, satantic winds are producing damaging rains and flooding the harvest fields. The fields are the nations, but persecution and opposition have been sent by demonic farmers (those opposed to the Gospel) for the destruction of the harvest fields. We are spiritual farmers, sometimes preparing the spiritual ground in nations by warfare prayers. There are laborors that plant by speaking to others the Word of God. And there are spiritual farmers who harvest, those who lead people to the salvation in Jesus Christ. Consider yourself a spiritual farmer and pray togther with me the following .......
Our prayer...
Father, we pray today for every laboror in every nation to be bold, strong and be encouraged as they plant the seed of Your Word into the hearts of the people. We say that the Gospel must be preached and we ask for the nation of __________ (name a nation) today, that You would change the mindset of ungodliness and reveal the reality of Jesus Christ. We pull down strongholds of deception and speak life and peace to this nation. Thank You, Father, Your Word is truth and shall not return void.
